The Finance Department oversees the annual budget and funds for all city services. They are responsible for budget preparation, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and the annual Comprehensive Financial Statement.
Accounts payable checks are issued every Friday except for holidays or other special reasons. Checks are usually available for pick up or mailing by 3 p.m. on Fridays. If you have questions about accounts payable, call 817-685-1431.
City property tax appraisals are handled by the Tarrant Appraisal District, which can be reached by calling 817-284-3925.
Property tax billings and collections are managed by the Tarrant County Tax Assessor/Collector, which can be reached by calling 817-884-1100.
